We are happy to announce that the Finch Bay Eco Hotel has been named “South America’s Leading Green Hotel 2015” for thefourth year in a row at the World Travel Awards at an event held in Bogotá on Saturday 10th October. The World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
The Finch Bay leads the way in sustainable practices in the Galápagos Islands, including its own organic garden, its own water treatment plant, making the Finch Bay the only hotel in Puerto Ayora to have one; solar panels, energy saving lightbulbs and movement sensors throughout the property that also contribute to creating a sustainable environment. In 2014, it won the award as “The World’s Leading Green Hotel” – and this year, the hotel has been nominated again as World’s Leading Green Hotel 2015!

The hotel is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment spearheaded by Ecuador’s most renowned interior designer, Julio Vinueza, who will introduce an “expedition chic” look fully in tune with the hotel’s extraordinary location.
The Finch Bay Eco Hotel in Santa Cruz Island is an exciting way to discover the Galápagos Islands. The hotel is an excellent alternative both for pre & post Galápagos cruise extensions, or for exclusive stays on its facilities, to fully enjoy a unique Galapagos adventure in close contact with the natural world.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
